Day 1: Phuntsholing to Paro (By vehicle)
Upon arrival, our friendly guide will warmly welcome you and assist in processing the necessary documents for permits. After completing the formalities, we will drive to Paro district, a beautiful valley town west of Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy an overnight stay in Paro.
Day 2: Paro Acclimatization Ride, Hike to Tiger’s Nest
After a delicious breakfast, embark on a scenic ride to the Taktsang base, approximately 12 km away. From there, hike up to the Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest, a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site perched on the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley at 3120 meters. Explore this awe-inspiring cultural and spiritual landmark.
Day 3: Ride to Thimphu and Visit Buddha Point
Enjoy a gentle ride towards the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu, with a gradual elevation gain. After completing the ride, visit the impressive Buddha Point, home to the largest sitting Buddha statue in the world.
Day 4: Ride to Phobjikha Valley
Start your day with a warm breakfast and then shuttle to Lawala, the peak point of Phobjikha Valley. Enjoy a thrilling downhill ride surrounded by blooming flowers along the roads. Explore the scenic beauty of Phobjikha Valley and spend the day soaking in the breathtaking views.
Day 5: Riding in Phobjikha Valley and Wildlife Encounter
Today, venture deeper into Phobjikha Valley, exploring its hidden gems. Encounter the famous star of the valley, ‘KARMA,’ and observe the endangered species, the black-necked crane, housed in a shelter. Immerse yourself in the natural wonders and unique biodiversity of the region.
Day 6: Ride towards Thimphu through Dochula Pass
Shuttle back to Lawala and enjoy a downhill ride along the same route. Have lunch and take a bus ride to Thimphu Valley, passing through the scenic Dochula Pass.
Day 7: Ride till Haa and Rest
Today is a shuttle day to the Chelela Pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy a thrilling downhill ride to Haa Valley, where you can relax and rejuvenate amidst the cool breeze.
Day 8: Paro Ride through Chelela Pass
Embark on the final ride of the trip back to Paro, passing through the majestic Chelela Pass. A shuttle will be provided for added convenience.
Day 9: Departure Day
Bid farewell to the enchanting kingdom of Bhutan as you depart, carrying with you unforgettable memories of the stunning landscapes and cultural richness experienced during this 9-day journey.
